Is there a command or menu where I can easily see everything I own besides the trade window?  Even that doesn't show everything.  When the fortress gets really big I forget if I have a weapon rack etc. and it'd be nice to just browse all my possessions.

If you have a bookkeeper (or was it a broker? I got both at once), there's a "stocks" submenu in the general status view. If you don't, your fortress probably isn't yet too huge for you to more or less keep track of things.

On a related topic, is there a way to move stuff between storage bins or consolodate crossbolts? It'd be nice to not have an ammo bin filled with 12 1 bolt stacks

Item re-stacking is on to-do, and somewhat annoying, especially because it can't stack things with different qualities/makers unless it puts them in some kind of virtual stack.

Bookkeeper gives you stocks -- even the large fortresses won't give one unless your autumn caravan leaves when you have 5 stacks of coins made.  I think that requirement is now clarified in the noble tables in help, but it wasn't there for a while.

Yeah, but who actually knows how many coins a "stack" is ? Raise your hands !

If you order your metalworkers to make "coins", they'll make one stack of 100 coins for each order. I assume that's what's meant, although it'd be interesting to see what would happen if you made just one stack and somehow split it up into 5...

Actually, that's a known bug, but coin stacks don't normally start splitting until the economy starts, in which case you have a bookkeeper already.  However, you'll get the higher nobles in the production chain early, since they count stacks (separate items in the list) rather than individual coins.  Easy to fix, just an oversight.
