Rude bauble (40c): elves think my obsidian swords are trees

I've had this happen occasionally:  I tried to trade a +obsidian short sword+ for some sun berry[5] and Nemo says:  Once a beautiful tree, and now?  It is a rude bauble fit only for your kind.

Obsidian swords are a bunch of pointy rocks jammed into a stick, like one of those macahuitl majiggers..  Sorry, but the elves got ya there.

swords use wood for thier handle so it violates thier ethics.

Ahh, I thought they were carved wholly from stone.  So I should just read the raws to find this stuff out (I never looked at them yet.)

Well, Obsidian short swords are hard coded and not in the raws.. so you wouldn't of know unless you have read the wiki.

Or had watched a dwarf make one and seen him run for the wood (that confused me the first time I saw it way back in the 2D version).
