I was always a fan of Sim Ant. The main problem I see here is having a 'Queen' of sorts. You could make the ants all males, but would you be able to make the leader be the only female? Of course... the queen doesnt really lead them; as shown in the video below.

But if you are serious about this mod (I think its a great idea too); you HAVE to watch this.
