Make a Speed button.

Make it possible to make the game go faster with the press of a button. (For example if all your dwarves are asleep you could make it go by faster)

While you CAN make them go faster by changing the FPS in the 'init' file, since the speed is based on processor speed but maxes out at the value there, it could be good were Toady to perhaps make the FPS max changeable in-game in some way.

There's been a rash of these suggestions lately.
Has a new Prince of Persia been released? Or is everyone really excited about Braid?

If your gonna talk about that, move it to the Other Games area.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Just saying that there have been a lot of "go faster/slower" suggestions, so I mentioned the two games I could think of with time manipulation as a central element.
And I'd do it again in a second.
