a while back i tried talking about this bug....but i cant find it....so my post may not have gone through....
i dug out a room and put a set of stairs in it.....after i did this my dwafs moved on to create more rooms that i had designated.....and so to make things look nice i made a temporary stockpile.....i selected the whole room including the stairs then accepted it....after i did this the dwarves on ground level had all started to idle...none of them would use the stairs to deposit the objects into the stockpile......they stayed where they were and would idle.....
this was the only way into the room at the time...and the miners wouldnt go up the stairs either.....one died of thirst b4 i figured out what to do.....
as soon as i removed the stockpile from the stair tile they started to use the stairs no problem.....
now...i just spent the better half of an hour reading through all the fucking bugs and did not find this one mentioned....so um....yeah......
now, im gonna go see if i cant replicate this myself or if my pc was being a bitch.....also...i dont remember what kind of stockpile it was....all i can remember is that it was one of three stockpiles....wood, food, or stone......im pretty sure it was food or stone....and i am leaning towards it being stone....but like i said....i dont remeber....and i deleted the file i had.......
*EDIT* I JUST FOUND MY OLD POST!!!!!Same type of topic......it was a stone stockpile....
