Oh my...

Just got an immigrant wave, and an animal dissector caught my eye. Her name is Urist Rerrascatten(Fissurechanneled). While of course Urist is a popular name and all, the very first line in the bottom paragraph of her profile is "She is socially crippled by thoughts that everyone is watching and judging her." Followed by " She prefers to be alone. She is put off by authority and tradition."

Oh dear.

Edit: Actually, seems she's the only immigrant.

I did. I gave her all jobs, except stone smooting, as she let melbil do that.

Not sure how long she'll last, though, as harpies have appeared and have shut off acces to the outside, and we just ran out of beer.

So... that means she'll be the last one to survive successfully kill off the other dwarves because they were plotting against her because they all thought she was... you know... useless.

...or she could throw a tantrum, kill my engraver named Cilbel,(I think thats how you spell it) and them destroy a door before my hounds catch up with her.

Oh, and the door protected the entrance, so 15 or so harpies just flooded my fortress.

Life is, in a word, death.

Even the profession is abstractly appropriate. Then again, Urist only dissected the psyche of one unfortunate victim for decorative purposes. Eh, close enough.
