When you wear jewelry that you loot, all rings go on your right thumb (assuming it's still attached) and all bracelets go on your right hand.

This should be considered a bug since i've never been able to wear more than three rings on my right thumb in real life. Plus i couldn't move the thumb.

Also it seems that people only lose their left limbs in worldgen, which makes finding a match to the +rope reed left glove+ i picked up under a passed out druid pretty much impossible.
