My Hamlet leader is stupid...

My Leader/ Bookeeper/ Manager won't do anything but update stockpile records and validate work orders... he won't even drink or eat. he will however sleep. I am using version 0.27.176.38c.

Do you have the bookkeeper settings at "highest precision"?  That is normal behavior at this setting.  He'll keep updating until the stocks are fully updated.  If you want him to do other things, lower the precision.  For most things, you won't need more than the "high precision" setting.

no it is set to medium precision. and sometimes he just stands around with the no job tag.
