Eight years and only 2 sieges.

Really, what is going on there? Why did I only get 2 sieges after 8 years? Somethings wrong there...

Not really...
The first siege was only the begining, and the second seige mearly a follow up.
Be prepared for more and more seiges to come.
The game works by sending out siege after siege with the next siege becoming more powerful.

I think what the OP is saying is that over the course of 8 years he only had two sieges.

To get a siege you need a population of 80, perhaps you were only constantly dipping below that number?

My god Ive had 4 seiges in 5 years. By the time Ive finished looting the damn bodies another comes to paint my roads red.

No. In 8 years, I have had 2 sieges. One in year 4, and one in year 6. I have a population of 148. My created wealth is hovering around 2.5 million. Any idea why I have so few sieges?

I'm not sure exactly how the system works, so take my words with a grain of salt.  But I imagine it could be a couple different things, such as your fortress being in a remote, difficult-to-access location which might reduce the frequency of attacks, or "evil" races might have been particularly weak in the world you generated due to losing wars throughout their history.

The only way to get more sieges atm is via modding. You can mod in nasty things but takes a lot of time. Personally I will make a real challenging total conversion mod once the army arc is complete + we can make graphics for all tiles.
