[39x] Mass-cancellation spam if item is underwater
« on: July 24, 2008, 01:56:26 pm »

I cracked open an underground pool only to find it inhabited by giant olms, lizardmen, and frogmen (with my starting 7 dwarves). I lost 3 dwarves before I could seal it up again but one of them was ripped in half and his lower body fell into the pool. At that point I started getting HUNDREDS of failed stockpile messages, I thought it was from the corpses already trapped around the pool so I forbidded them, but it did nothing.

Then I noticed the various body parts and clothes littering the bottom of the pool so I did a mass-forbid and it immediately stopped. Very annoying while it was happening though.

(On another note, marksmen positioned around the edge of the pool were VERY effective at clearing it of enemies)

Might be related to bug 904, which also has a check in place that doesn't seem to be working.  Do you have a save for this?  Everything seems to be in order so I don't know what's going on.
