One of my dwarves keeps attempting to Store an Owned Item. It keeps getting canceled for "Item inaccessible".

I recently had my first goblin ambush so I' m not sure if that has anything to do with it... it wasn't happening before this.

Is this a bug? I don't have any restrictions set upon my dwarves (like staying inside) and everywhere the dwarves have been/can go is accessible via ramps and such.

Well, are there any locked doors?

And, if you've got a death chamber, like I do, the living dwarves will claim the dead dwarves stuff. This will cause them to do said error message if they can't reach the corpse.

That's completely possible.. we didn't/couldn't recover the body of the one dwarf we lost (I couldn't find it).

And no locked doors

EDIT: AHA! The dwarf erroring was the dead dwarf's wife... I'm assuming she was in the will. Now is there any way to stop the error? >_>;

Try going into the stocks menu, look under corpses and see if you can find the body.  If that doesn't work, search for dwarf bones or dwarf skull under the relevant menus in the stocks.  You can zoom to the relevant location from there.

Forbid the items, or make them accessible. Until then, filter the announcements.
