I wasn't aware that only having one fortress was even an option  :D

That would be like eating only one potato chip

Incidentally, there's um. No Goodness option.

It kind of says a lot that everyone has overlooked that.

Hmm, well I do have an elf drowning system implemented, I could just open up all the flood gates, lock the doors and flood the entire fortress.

That'd just be low evil.

Toady, how much of DF is inspired by Labyrinth? Is Armok actually David Bowie? Because that would simultaneously be disturbing and awesome.

Also needs a nearby-civs filter.

Sand is, to me, as a glass fetishist, one of the more important parameters. As it actually pertains to gameplay options, I think it's an important parameter to have. If it's not too much trouble of course.
Ooh yes, sand options would be nice. And caves, and roads, and... I can quickly see the site finder becoming a scrollable list of options. Perhaps it could be broken down into Features (volcanoes, rivers, flux, etc.), Terrain (elevation, river size, etc.), and Climate (rainfall, temperature, evilness, etc.)?

Quote
And a tangential issue, I thought the feature was broken at first as it couldn't find some pretty common (in my experience) combinations- 3x3, magma and cave river specifically. After manually searching for a while, it seems that it's been changed recently so that mountains often "spill over" into neighboring tiles... which is fine, except cave features don't appear in world map tiles that aren't mountains.
Isn't 3x3 a bit small? Do you get the same results with the default 6x6?
