[39d] crashes generating world
« on: July 23, 2008, 03:20:00 pm »

When I go to generate a world, it crashes. I believe it crashes when it gets to the "Initializing" stage. But if I generate a pocket world, it almost works, it got to year 5 after telling me that there wasn't enough civilizations, which I decided to ignore. I'm thinking it might just be my computer, which is not that good. I don't know if it doesn't have enough memory or something.  :-\.

Very probably your computer. The specs aren't that important (I have generated a world on a PIII 450 MHz with 128 RAM). Might be RAM issues or overheating.

I choose "Create New World Now!", and it successfully generated a world. I hope it stays like this.

Edit: I just remembered that this is the one I duplicated and put 39c raw files into so I could load up worlds with it to export the detailed maps.
