This seems to be a minor bug, but using the new [d]->[ b]->[d] command, you can designate built furniture to be dumped. The dwarves don't seem to do anything about it, but it does show up as marked for dumping in the stocks screen. I don't know if this applies to 39e or not. I designated the stuff in 39d, but I found the items after moving to 39e.
