[39c] Farm Plot Orders with not enough time left in season

Howdy!

Came across this bug the other day.

When you are assigned a plot to plant a particular type of seeds, the seed name will occasionally turn red to indicate that there is not enough time left in the season for the plant to mature.

However, in 39c (and I believe I saw this in b, as well; I didn't play a), the lack of time persists across seasons.

For instance, if there is not enough time left in winter to plant Plump Helmets, you cannot order the plot to plant Plump Helmets in the spring, summer, or fall, either; they are "redded" out for those options, as well.

I haven't been able to confirm if this happens only with respect to winter or if it happens earlier in the year, as well.

Makes sense to me. Summer comes before winter, so the Summer growing season ended six months ago.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Makes sense to me. Summer comes before winter, so the Summer growing season ended six months ago.

In previous versions, you were able to freely alter non-current seasons' planting orders which would then take effect the next time that season rolled around: changing the summer orders during the fall would change what was planted the following summer.

Furthermore, not everything is redded out for summer; only those crops which are plantable in the current season and which are plantable in summer.

So, while you cannot tell the farm to plant plump helmets next summer (even though it will be able to, once summer rolls around), you can tell it to plant cave wheat.*

So, no, it does not make sense.

* A "for instance;" I can't recall if cave wheat's a summer crop or not.

Only works for seasons yet to come.  Things will be all-white again come spring.

Yeah, you are supposed to be able to set it for past seasons now to accommodate the year roll-over more easily.  It doesn't seem to red out anything for me, which makes me think it's a problem with the farmer knowledge that comes with skill or a few bad plantings.  (testing...)  Yeah, it'll make the specific known restrictions go back seasons.  I'll fix it for next time.
