I was building a fishing shack near the river to protect my dwarves from fishy death rays (and protect my raw fish from animals) and I used the new feature for building several walls simultaneously...

Except something went wrong! One of the walls was built just fine, and I've built several other walls this way with no problems... but one of the walls the dwarves built staircases instead! I had built a single staircase on the other side of the structure, so that I could add a roof later, but I'm sure I designated the walls as walls.

Has anybody else had this happen?

If you press enter twice it chooses staircases by default.  It's happened to me a couple of times, when I accidentally hit enter-w instead of w-enter.  Easy to miss the misdesignation.
