Problems with Winterwing character set in new version?

I get a totally corrupted screen when I use the Winterwing set.  The default set, and the Zaratustra set work fine.  I've definitely converted it to BMP (tried two ways, same results), and it has the right size and looks just fine in an image viewer.

Winterwing's my favorite one because of its ClearType support.  Anyone have it working in the new version?
