Traded items not transferred to me

I have had this bug for a while now through several versions. I move my goods to the depot, select the goods to be traded with Enter, select the stuff I want in return, press O... the merchants take my goods, but the stuff I just bought from them is still owned by them. This basically kills trade for me since I cannot buy anything. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug?

Yes. You're giving them stuff for free. Try 't' instead. :)

I must be blind, the only keybind I saw on that screen was O for offering, nothing else that would imply trading... ::)

It is probably a bad word, since offer is ambiguous as either an offering or "I'll make you an offer!"  "Present gift" or something might be better.

Well, I mean, there's [t] Trade.

But maybe you were being sarcastic.

If it helps, I did offer at first too, and couldn't figure out what the heck.

I'm serious, somehow I totally managed to miss the Trade option, thinking that Offer was the one to use. :P
