Extinct Civilizations

Dunno if it was a bug or not, but I was running the Lord of the Rings mod and after 10,000 years, I could start as a race which had gone extinct, I dunno if this is a bug or just a hardcoded thing. I took some screenshots too of the excess items dropped after the amount of time, is there a way to deal with the excess death-drops.

It's not a bug I found, but after everyone died the Elves stole 18000+ items from the ruins that were across the map and took it there for some reason.
