[39e]Carpenters Won't Build Animal Traps
« on: July 25, 2008, 02:35:36 am »

Hmm, strange one this. I don't know which version it cropped up in, because I don't rely on Trappers very much.

A Carpenter with "No Job" will happily run off to carve things like barrels and furniture. But if you tell him to build Animal Traps, he will go hang around in a meeting area and do nothing useful.

I noticed this when my Carpentry job queue stopped. When I investigated, I noticed that the next jobs in line were to build the Traps. Cancelling these allowed my Carpenter to go back to work, but he'll just stop again if you add Traps into the queue later.

Trapping makes traps, not carpentry.

D'oh! No wonder.

Thanks, and sorry for the mixup.
