Author Topic: [39c] trade caravan wagon killed (and shows up dead on creature list)  (Read 609 times)

The first trade caravan appeared, but the wagon was "somehow" killed.  It happened so fast, I didn't see who or what did it (it could have been a wolf).    The wagon is now listed as "deceased" on the creature list.

Yeah, try killing trade caravans more often. I've had it happen a lot.

Wagons are 'creatures', and as such can be killed. They do have the [WAGON] tag which makes them harder to kill and takes out a lot of things like bleeding and emotions, but they're still just as alive as the people riding them.

Yeah, try killing trade caravans more often. I've had it happen a lot.

I never kill caravans, so I guess that's why I haven't seen it. 

 Whenever I've seen trade caravans attacked by goblins or other beasties, the guards usually beat them down.   So I'm wondering why this particular wagon was so weak against what seems to be an attacking wolf?

Maybe the wolves got lucky.

Or maybe the wolves had crossbows.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
