[39b] Infinite world rejections bug

38c and 39b.

Steps to reproduce:
Start game.
Click "design a new world with parameters"
Press F6, or edit values and press F6, makes no difference
Hit Enter.
Watch as an infinite number of rejections roll by.

World size doesn't seem to matter.
Removing data/init/world_gen.txt restores my ability to create new maps, but I still can't set the parameters that I'd like.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Is this a fresh install in a new folder?  World generation settings didn't work right in 38c, but they should work in the newest version.

Switch on map rejection log in the init file and read what it says. It will usually hint at what you need to change to make it work.

ToadyOne, I have a reproducible infinite rejections issue, although I wouldn't call it a bug, persay. Check it out below.

This is a very small excerpt of a game that gives me infinite rejects:

I can easily make this world generate properly by just changing the [TOTAL_CIV_NUMBER:20] to a smaller number, such as 10.

Those aren't bugs. They're more of a feature. Because you can set all of the parameters for the world gen you can set parameters that'll never be generated. This causes an infinite reject cycle. It's nothing Toady can really fix because it's how the game is supposed to work.

Small (pocket, smaller, small) maps have problems meeting their peaks requirements so i always lower them.
