[39a]Human forest retreats
« on: July 14, 2008, 01:18:25 pm »

I found a forest retreat that belongs to humans. It's just like a normal human town, with buildings and all, but there are named trees everywhere.

I haven't checked out legends, but I think some humans decided to clean out the forest and built a town over a once elven settlement.

According to raws they will tolerate forest retreats but prefere cities so they probably went to war with the elves and took over the city.

I have a human civilization that conquered an entire elven civilization (6 forest retreats), and moved their capital to one of them!

One important bug: there's an elven shopkeeper in the capital (a survivor or perhaps a freed abductee from the nearby goblins), but when I attempt to trade with her, she has no money. The coins in the shop are instead offered as trade goods. I assume this has something to do with checking the civ of the shopkeeper to decide which coins they will accept as payment.

I had a human civilization take over a goblin fortress. There were shops and homes and everything. They didn't use the towers for anything though.
