Combat Details?
« on: July 06, 2008, 11:31:13 am »

Is there any way to get some combat details?  Right now I'm just stepping through time with "." and checking for wounds that appear.  It would be nice to see something like "Dwarf gets sliced in the arm by [Goblin Name]

Unfortunately, as best as I can tell you can't filter any messages out at all.  If you have military dwarves sparring, you are spammed to hell and back.

This is a very stripped-down version of Dwarf Companion that just turns on combat announcements.

Yes, dwarwes who spar (theoretically) don't try to kill each other. In game terms it means something like a skill test for not to hurt their sparring partners with their attacks.
