Increase in viewable area?
« on: July 04, 2008, 09:06:47 pm »

I'm wondering if there is a way to increase the view area of the game.  Right now I'm playing in the default windowed mode, and have fooled around with the expanded 800x600 font, but all that does is make everything bigger.

Often times (especially when trading) descriptions of items are cut off, and I need to go to a submenu to see what the full title of something is.  Increasing the view area (resolution?) would help immensely.

When viewing a description, just scroll down or up if it's being cut off. Long names are known to be cut off, especially in dwarves and adventurers Also, no, you cannot increase how many tiles are shown on screen at a time.

As you journey to the center of the world, feel free to read the death announcements of those dwarves that suffer your neglect.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

You can hit Tab a few times to increase the menu size so you can read the stuff in the menus, but unfortunately not the trade window as you ask.
