suggestion for levers

For all those people who are fond of programming stuff with (water and) levers:

Is it an idea to add the job 'wait for (x) seconds' at the lever's menu, with a submenu to set (x).
That way we can add a timed interval to our nefarious trap designs.
Now that would open up a whole new world of possibilities, am I right?
