uhmm.. Anybody?

(I don't usually bump my own thread, but like I've been sitting with an embark map in front of me for the past hours...

I'd like to make a screenshot of the embark location before continuing.
Or is there another way to make DF screenshots then using <PrtSc>?

Alt + PrtSc takes a shot of the currently open window and puts it in the clipboard. To save it, paste it to your photo editor of choice, e.g Paint, crop it (if necessary) and save it. It's better to save them as png, since jpg compression generally mangles the pictures.

Upload them to some file hosting service, like ImageShack or Photobucket. And then just paste the image urls inside img tags.

I doubt that you'll ever need CMVplayer. You might need the map compressor if you're planning to upload your maps to DFMA.

Good luck!

Edit: Btw, the utils section seems to be back up again.
