Temperature & World Generation
« on: December 28, 2007, 10:19:00 pm »

Do I have to generate a new world every time I change the boiling point of something?

EDIT:
While I'm on the topic of temperature, what is the above-ground temperature in different biomes (hot, warm, temperate, etc.)?

you can edit the burning/boiling temps of stuff without making a new world.

I don't know the temps of the various biomes, I think it varies through the year. If I remember right, water freezes at 10000 so temperate gets at least that cold, and hot/scorching don't. the cave is .... 100015? I think. The archive of the wiki has some more info under the temperature article.

I checked the wiki, but it doesn't say. Since I won't need to generate a new world each time I change the boiling point, I can achieve my goal anyway. Thanks.
