Trap Component Troubles

Sorry to have to ask this, but I was attempting to mod in more trap components.  I basically used an existing trap, copied, and pasted, and modified.  It is not a dual reference, and I get no errors in my error file.  The problem is they never show up as possible to make, is not carried by any caravans which carry all the other trap components, and for all intensive purposes does not seem to be in the game.  Any ideas on how to remedy this?  Would it be possible to have a makeshift weapon under the regular weapons catergory that is unwieldable?

Here is an example of one.

Hmmm... did you add it to the weapon options for dwarves? They won't make anything that isn't in the civ_default file for them. I don't know much more than that, though.

I believe you have just solved my problem, thank you!  Following your suggestion, I looked at the file, and indeed the default for dwarves has the normal 5 trap components listed right there!  So I need to add them, as you say.

Yeah, any item which is not listed in entity in entity_default.txt is not avaliable for that race to make.
