New Civs/Races won't make items

I've been having issues with two civs I made, specifically the latter one, both with their own race (I might put it back to both the same race, if that is possible. The problem is that the second one will not have any furniture or items in the town, so you cannot trade with merchants (the game crashes if you try) and the civilians just mill around. No doors, tables, beds, weapons, etc. Items will appear on the inhabitants of the civs, but that's it.

A fun side-note, the drakeling civ has a tendancy to use either crap metal OR adamantine.

[BUILDINGDESTROYER:~]  Causes creatures to destroy all nearby buildings, regardless of who made them or what they are.  This is why they don't have furniture, they smashed it all.

[BONECARN] Implies [CARNIVORE].

[METAL_PREF]  Causes an entity to make their weapons armor and crafts out of the best metal that does not have the [DEEP] tag.  Not sure if that was intended.

[WOOD_PREF] Causes them to make stuff out of wood.  This is probably what's messing up the wacky mining equipment metals (I'm assuming that's what you're having trouble with).

[EXTRAVISION] Allows a creature to see without eyes.  I'm not sure if that was intended or not.

I haven't had any issue of my creatures making anything out of wood.

I dumped the [BUILDINGDESTROYER:*] tag and it made absolutely no difference. They still have no items or furniture in town.

That explains why my dwarves kept using my godenite for everything...
What else does the DEEP tag do?

It seems to have a relationship with HFS.

Kagus: The wiki claims that EXTRAVISION just gives nightvision. Someone is wrong. SOMEONE WILL BE DESTROYED

[EXTRAVISION] provides vision without eyes, and does not provide nightvision.  Having played as an [EXTRAVISION] adventurer, I happen to know that having your eyes ripped out does nothing to hinder your vision or accuracy.  He still couldn't see worth a damn at night though.

The [DEEP] token, when given to a STONE, makes that stone appear with HIDDEN FUN STUFF. If you give it to a METAL, it simply prevents you from embarking with it.

I don't have any problems with that stuff.

My Serpentfolk live in human-like cities, but will not have items or furniture that is not ON them, leaving every building empty and shops unusable.

The Drakelings actually work great in adventure mode, being tough, but not overly powerful (they have a lot of natural armour, but they don't start out with armor).

Okay, try this...  Give them both the tag [OUTDOOR_FARMING] in their entities.
