At present, when you start following a unit, the main view centers on a point some distance to the east of the unit. That places the unit in the left half of the main view, and it's not a bad choice when the unit info interface is open - the left edge of that interface covers the center of the main view, and if the view centered on the unit immediately, you wouldn't be able to see the unit in the main view.

When you close the unit info interface, the main view remains centered on that point to the east of the followed unit. And you can't correct it, because touching a main view scrolling control cancels the follow, which is probably also the right thing - how to cancel a follow needs to be obvious.

But that leaves us with no way to have the main view centered on the followed unit. It would be nice if that happened automatically when the unit info interface is closed.

It would also be nice to see a return of the ability to assign hotkey [Functions] to center on units and items again. I often found it way more useful than centering on a fixed map location, but being able to keep track of important units or items.
