Any muscle's got to be connected to something. And you have a lot of face muscles.
It says "a tendon IN the skull."  Maybe dwarves don't have brains.  Their skulls are just full of tendons.

There are combat reports about "pushing the skull through the brain".

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

My second turn's unnoficial goal was to turn everyone into vampires, and it backfired so bad, I ended up making the fort a more efficient, safer and friendlier place.
Apparently they evolved a taste for everything I love and care about

Some necromancy there.

Are those three still in the hardcoded materials of 0.50 or were they removed?

They are still there. I also see a CREATURE_1 ("unknown creature substance"), that is not listed on the wiki (but it was already there in 2011). I don't know if it is actually used in game.

It has always kind of bugged me that insanity is completely incurable.  That hasn't stopped me from throwing insane dwarves into volcanoes, though, because you can often discover the cavern layers (or even adamantine) as they sink beneath the magma.

I haven't read the whole thread, but there's a special mention to be reserved for Night Trolls very non romantic reproduction system.
And this is being /has been already removed, yes?

What else : un-trained vampires are terrified by the death they cause, making their (non-)life an undending nightmare.

It is with DFhack though? Or do we not speak of such heresy?

In my opinion the lore of Armok is scary to me because the idea of a god that only cares about war, death, and bloodshed makes the world of dwarf fortress seem so hopeless. Imagine living in a world that only exists because of violence and once world peace is restored the world resets. Sounds like a hell to me.

Armok doesn't actually exist though.

In the literal sense no, but the players complain if goblin invasions dont happen. Armok is you.
