Why are my make clothing jobs being cancelled for lack of cloth when there's cloth in the stockpile?

Do you have a hospital zone set up, and have your doctors been treating injuries in it? It's possible your cloth has been partially consumed by wound dressings (i.e. bandages).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Is the cloth stored in bins? If some one is using the bin -- like to add more cloth to it -- it's contents will be temporarily unavailable.

Are there any stockpile links for the stockpile or workshop? If a workshop is linked to a stockpile, then every thing it needs has to be in a linked stockpile. (Though, a clothier's should only need cloth.)

Did you change the setting for "only use dyed cloth"? It kinda makes the cloth jobs get stuck to that setting.
