Technical: Ignore scrollwheel events if mouse button 2 is pressed
« on: September 20, 2023, 06:26:00 pm »

I'm playing on Linux, and I don't know how this affects other platforms, but at the moment on some devices, it's almost impossible to use scrolling and/or mouse button 2 (repositioning the map).  Things like my trackpad on my laptop fire both scroll wheel events and mouse button 2 events at the same time, which makes it impossible to use.  Even my trackball can't send mouse button 2 events without also sending scroll wheel events.

Not sure how difficult it would be to do, but it would be nice to ignore the scroll wheel events if mouse button 2 was pressed.  It wouldn't fix everything, but I think it's the most sensible default.  The other nice to have would be to be able to rebind the mouse button 2 repositioning of the map to something else.  That would allow me to fix everything.
