After the First Mate announces your decision of overnight stay - cheered upon by the sailors - he and the Purser accompany you to the Company Man, who's office is at the very entrance to the harbor.

It is a small, ground-level building of firebrick and timber roof. When you enter the office, you're spotted by a small, shriveled, wrinkled man with bald head and blemishes.

"Greetings." He says, then notices your officers.

"Hello, Fernando. This is Captain Scott Finley, on his first voyage with us."

"Warm greetings to you, Mister Equitas." An exchange of handshakes before the Company Man leads you to the desk and you all sit down.

"What do you need of me?"

"Current knows and events of this place, and around, would do nicely." The old man harrumphs.

"Well, a fire ravaged part of the town few weeks ago. Several establishments and workshops have been destroyed and you could easily sell some Company Goods at great pricings." The Purser sighs mournfully, feeling riches having slipped away from him.

"Alas, we have none, sold them already elsewhere." Fernando shrugs.

"Not much to say than this. Harvest was good but not exceptional, seas are stirring but that's expected this time of year, and fortunately pirates have stayed away from us."
