NSA-LR-12-8-1, ADM Index: 5N4 "Bearradair" is a modification of NSA-SR-12-3-5, ADMI: 5N1 "Bunaiteach" with components from NSA-CM-12-5-1, ADM Index: 3N2 "Ràsanach" which involves taking the action of regular "Bunaiteach" rifles, flipping it and adding a long gas tube system from the "Ràsanach" machinegun, in combination with similar trigger mechanism to the latter, which allows both for sustained and single fire. Because the gun is flipped the old charging handle which would now be on the left side is cut off and a new one on the right side is added. Because the gun now feeds from above, from longer, 24 round detachable magazines (NSA-FC-12-6-1, ADM Index: 5P7), the sights are moved higher up and to the left while optional mounting for the 5C1 scope should remain relatively similar to the old system. New furniture is to be made, where the stock is much higher up and the barrel is partially exposed, with a new block allowing for attachment of the 5K8 bayonet and instead of gripping it the soldiers now use a simple pistol grip and front grip. The recoiling bolt rides along a metal slide and, to alleviate the issues that might arise from having a violently recoiling bolt near one's face, a long cylindrical fluted cover is fitted to the end of the action where it rests inside the stock.
The gun also includes the 5IP19 muzzle brake and 5IP8 bipod from "Banchéile".

Metaphorically Hitler. This stock arrrangement should allow for inline recoil but it also means that trying to fire the gun left-handed will mean the charging handle will take out your teeth. The image is vastly off scale, there's no bayonet lug (oops) and generally the gun should be an experience.

For those of you not in the discord channel and who aren’t cheaters looking into the other thread, I’ll say here too that my will to update was very quickly drained by the direct assault to sanity I suffered at the hands of the other team. Once I have a few days where my two year old isn’t an S-tier pain I’ll be more able to handle the prospect of a whole team degrading into two year olds.
