You post an image artifact with antler decorations, and I'll toss my best favorite armorsmith dwarf at my longest running fort into a volcano.

With a quick glance in a 0.47.05 world's legends, among the first ten artifacts there's a sword decorated with a horn image.



I'd assume if horn is possible, so should antler. Now, only to find that antler artifact...

...Aaand a few seconds later, from the same Legends and world gen artifact list:



“On the item is an image of figurines in elk bird antler.”

I'd assume if horn is possible, so should antler. Now, only to find that antler artifact...

Right, because world gen artifacts don't follow the same ruleset as in game artifacts, hence why you get earrings made of out sand on occasion. Okay, OKAY! Hold on. I'll get a a screen cap of this.

Last time I lost a bet like this I lost my weaponsmith. I suspected silk weapon artifacts might be able to convert their absurdly high shear yield into crazy bugged-out overflow blunt damage. Sadly that did not work.

Yeah, yeah... I told em' we were going to "entertain people."

Dragged them out to my fallen volcano fort, and dun did em the ugly.

I wanted to do it quick, but the first attempt actually failed, as they evidently bounced on the lava.
It ended up being a whole thing.

That was my only armor smith too! We evidently have 5 weapon smiths.
