Practically speaking, I'd say Mr. Lawrence would have balanced stats, skills in a variety of basic things, and special skills in Dueling and Reputation.  Dueling, so he can beat people in one-on-one contests in their greatest strengths, and Reputation because he's Dread Pirate Lawrence.  Could still have plenty of problems overcoming groups, unintelligent machines, etcetera.
