Attacking old adventurers
« on: September 03, 2007, 10:52:00 pm »

Has anyone ever attacked a very strong old retired adventurer? he'll talk for 3-4 pages! It's like i'm sitting there tapping his foot while he rants, spittle flying from his mouth.

Heh, I can imagine how that looks like. Unfortuntaly I've never had a very succesful adventurer myself so I doubt I'd have to listen more than one page's worth of boasting.

Never seen that happen personally. The typical "retirement" for my adveturers is a blaze of glory, usually against 20+ undead  :D

Cant imagine what would happen if i did. One of my old guys, a human that used whips. He did every single mission in 2 seperate human kindoms, collosi, hydras and everthing. He would be talking for like 20 mins!

Would be a nice way of testing out death from old age if it didn't pause the game. :P

Yeah getting slowly ripped apart by 20+ halflingzombies(modded halflings) is a heroic and epic death.
