Copper Dogs graphics [help]

I'm looking for some help. A while back I made an attempt at a mod. I couldn't figure it out and brolol.404 made the mod for me.
I've been trying to give it graphics in the steam release. I tried copying the vanilla dog images into a new file and folder and that didn't work. I also tried just directing it to use the vanilla files and folders and couldn't get that to work either. I just wanted to make them look like dogs and not those frog placeholder things. Can anyone help me?

Hey! I think you just need a new folder called images and in that folder the file:

Also, I haven't figured out custom sprites, but if you do, feel free to use these if you want. I just recolored the default dog.

Wow, I didn't expect you to help me again. Thank you.
So I followed your instructions (except I dropped it into a folder called "graphics" and it all works now!

Also, just an FYI to whoever sees this, if you are troubleshooting a mod make sure you go to:
Dwarf Fortress\data\installed_mods and delete older versions of your mod, or change the name of your mod as you work on it. Otherwise it will keep using the old version of your mod.

Hey Brolol, I can't seem to send messages so I'm putting this here. Is it ok with you if I upload this on the steam workshop? You did virtually all the work so I figured I should let you upload it if you want or say if you don't want it uploaded.
