bug - keys get stuck

yes! I have been drooling over how crazy and detailed this game has been looking for a long time. I just saw somebody post on r.g.roguelike.dev that dwarf fortress is released and I had to get it immediately!

this is an impressive piece of work, I have got to say.

I ran into a bug twice right now, when I was playing in the adventure mode where some keys would get stuck and continue pressing repeatedly. The first time this happened it was right when I left the first map for the first time, I was going east and it kept going, so I thought "ok, I automatically walk to some destination in one of the 8 directions or something, that is an interesting way of doing the world map" but then it kept going and I got killed by some fast monster.

GOOD WORK!!!!!

I have only started to dive into the dwarf fortress part.
What else can you do there??

can you take control of any of the individual characters?

You can't in the fortress mode, no.  It's more of a strategy game where you dictate the goals of the community and the individuals try to make it happen.

One of the future features is going to be tying in some adventure mode behavior in dwarf mode, especially during combat situations, but for now you play either a fortress or an adventurer.

I also get the stuck keys here...  a lot.  Hopefully when I start dealing with all these other keyboard issues I can get that too.  It's these technical matters that I'm the least experienced at.
