((Guess I will do daily/bi-daily updates until Unraveller comes back. Sorry for the delay guys, I really was just waiting.))
The four of you barge into the used module shop. It is a little worn-down and clearly hasn't been de-Degraded in a while, given the appearance of the walls and the pipes going to the storage unit behind the counter. The shopkeeper, appearing as a cat-shaped hole in reality with magenta galaxies inside, frequently crossed by lava-lamp-like lime shapes, walks out and then back in.
"
Hello and welcome, dear customers," its warbling meowing voice intones, "
the, uh, ware list function... yes I have it all in this opaque machine... don't like thieves... after the incident last cycle, it uh, broke so uh, I have... uh... let me do some maintenance."
A sphere of the same void un-material that the cat is composed of detaches from its form, rapidly accelerates, and impacts the machine. It begins to shimmer magenta, and then rattles off:

Well, uh, yeah that's it, I'm uh, on rough times ever since that... rat... hacked my vendor. As the... uh... machine implied, I accept modules as payment if you don't have any, uh, money. Or you can borrow an, uh, thing as long as you return it within seven cycles alongside 120% of its price in credits. Uh... yeah."
They then fall silent, paws on the counter, waiting for a response. "
Do you happen to have seen either that fire guy or... uh... the rat... or rather huge swarm of rats that acted as one? Especially the latter. The rat person in particular I saw boarding the, erm, train heading towards the Red Wasteland Station, the, uh, security lost them there. I'll, uh, pay you with... er... a hundred credits if you arrest them. You people seem... capable enough."
What now?
