Yeah, I just sort of ignored the despair cancellation spam... but people were getting really stressed.
Maybe this save isn't worth keeping and we just do Fisheads III (or just hack out the bloodrain)

You find the old overseer sat in a corner sobbing, their diary laid next to them of the events - picking through it is an absolute mess, but it seems some of it can be deciphered..

Of specific note; I've made the fortress connect almost completely underground through the ocean to the parts used. So overland travel is almost completely nonexistent, ala no more dwarf rain.

Dang, evil regions are no fun these days; if it's not immortal zombie enchiladas, it's blood rain that makes dwarves insane within seconds. Hard to get any fishing done in a place like this.

well, ill like to throw a dwarf into the arena...just not overseer for me. I doubt i will be able to make things not so shit...

still though, seems intresting to say the least! if you guys want a area to fish in, just build a dockyard area and have the dwarf fish there...and maybe while your at it during winter carve out a small well-hole area in the ocean, fortify it with Ice blocks or something, and then have a pump throw in fresh water. Then put a well+ceiling over the area with doors to hopefully prevent freezing over. Walla! Fresh water for everyone if things go to hell, also should get at least some cave crops at the LEAST to prevent dwarves from going insane!

you might be a fish exporter fortress, but doesnt mean EVERYTHING must be fish!
