Hi guys, I love this game and am currently exploring the adventure modes. I have a quick question though, can your adventurer stop learning skills after a point? I am a legendary thrower and legendary wrestler and my other attributes are maxed out (strength, agility, ect..) I ask because I was trying to use a sword to kill some antmen but I noticed that my sword skill was not leveling up. Any thoughts?
I'm using the newest version with a new map gen.

nope, my other skills seem to get experience (pikeman)

oh btw what is the goal of adventure mode? is it just neverending?

There is no goal. Right now Adventure Mode is kind of an afterthought.

Explore your old fortresses, the world your computer generated, complete quests and slay creatures of various power. My favorite past time is trying to take out a Goblin Fortress' leader and usual demon mascot-overlord.

Although there is a lot to do, Adventurer Mode is usually considered the less-complete of the two modes. Read through the development stuff and you'll see some of what's planned. =)

Could it perhaps be that you are slicing and dicing an unconscious enemy?  You get no sword experience from doing that.

Also: Are you gaining any numerical points? Level-up won't happen for 500 points from no skill.

oh that's why! yeah, since i'm a legendary wrestler, I like to take them down and choke them before hacking away, okay I understand now.
