Your additions are pretty blurry, Naturegirl. Is that deliberate?

It’s not. I’m using a paint app for drawing, so maybe I need to switch to a different brush

It's not a big problem because at a distance there's not much difference, but ideally you want to use any kind of paint program which gives you individual control of the pixels. For pixel art, you don't want to use a brush bigger than 1x1 pixel size.
