Try finding a small, harmless critter such as crabs, most birds, or rabbits then grab it with a wrestling move. Since it is so small, it will not have much of a chance of breaking your grip, or even hurting you, assuming you have at least some armour. Next just keep pressing the "skip turn" button, the period by default. Each turn the crab will either attempt to break free or attack you, and will fail at both. This will help raise most combat related skills.

It will take quite a while, but the only risks would be of starvation, dehydration, and/or bogeymen.

You also need to make sure to go into Combat Preferences and change "attack preference" to "close combat" if you're going to grind dodging vs a tiny creature. This way, you don't counterattack and bisect them by accident.

You don't actually have to grab them. Wildlife prone to fleeing won't run away once you're on an adjacent tile. Just sneak into the middle of a cavy boar gathering or something. Lay down (s) and reveal yourself. Make sure you've got armour, because almost any animal can, with enough time, damage your respiratory system, making you choke. Attack on Wrestling, Dodging on Stand Ground, Charge defense on Stand Ground. Laying down just means you take more attacks per .-click. BEWARE: If you grind Dodge skill first, you'll have trouble doing the same with Shield User. Start with two to three shields, then when your skill's at an acceptable level, you can pocket them and switch to pure dodging.

I found a human city named Sleevevirgins. It was easily the biggest city in the world, so clearly I wasn't the first person to come inside the city's walls.

Don't listen to those cowards.

Real men practice dodge throwing shields and weapon to the ground and dancing with the Bogeymen. If you survive until dawn, you
became a god.

1. Start as at least competent dodger.
2. Have at least high agility and other stats average.
3. Be a creature of human or greater size. Dwarfs are almost the same.
4. You should be focused easily.
5. Have cave blob as pet.
6. Provoke it to attack by wrestling.
7. Once it gets exausted it won't pass out. You can now hold it with wrestling for grinding with "." key held. You restore stamina faster than this thing drains it by trying to attack you.

Can also be used to grind wrestler.

Does anybody know how to become an elephant man in adventure mode? I literally did all advanced world settings possible to increase chances.
