I wondered what Starver meant, glad to hear it is related to DF... 7/10.

Mine is the name of the 2nd forgotten beast my dwarfs killed since beginning to play DF (I played very cautiously a while before risking the cavern beasts).
The Jabberwock avatar... well, I love the movie Jabberwocky and it pretty much looks like a forgotten beast.

7.5/10. I'm guilty of being scared of caverns as well. I always gate them and each cavern has its own isolated access shaft to avoid !!FUN!!. I'm a wimp.

Mine... I used to be a bit of a chemistry buff because of an enthusiastic teacher in high school, and I came upon this thing called "denatured alcohol" while researching all the chemicals online. Another name for it is "methylated spirits". I think I chose it 'cause it sounded cool. You know, I have a spirit (depending on which belief-set you subscribe to), and "methylated" sounded cool. The root of that, "methyl", is something about having one carbon atom, and I'm one person, right?

Despite the very on-the-spot nature of that username, I think it's a half-decent description of myself. Flammable, volatile, byproduct... hopefully not "toxic" or "blinding"; I try not to be either of those. It's definitely a name that's grown on me. It just works, for some reason.

Of course, good luck trying to abbreviate this name. I sorta have this running joke on here where I never refer to my username directly, ever. I enjoy seeing the numerous variations of my username as people try to shorten it, and if I ever explicitly say it, then there would be an "official" way to refer to it. I prefer to enjoy the chaos. It's funnier this way.

7/10 Better than how I came up with mine.

When I was trying to join I couldn't think of anything so I took it from a jock I heard on a youtube video about a bunch of drunks playing FTL.
