You know you play too much DF when:

- You think of trees as beds waiting to happen.

- You start naming things in an odd way. Like "The Hills of Hairy Hammers" or "The Breakfast of Champions."

- Jreengus Occurred

- When you are shocked that a friend has not heard of Boatmurdered yet.

- When you reference Ironblood in real life, then realize that he is too awesome for this world.

- You giggle hysterically when you see a circus with midgets and elephants.

When a friend tells you they plan to go fishing and have a carp for dinner, and you look at them in horror and ask them if they are insane and know how many people those monsters have killed.

When you think murderers are idiots, they could get away with it if they'd just make something cool from the body.

-When you made a stupid thread on the forums and it's STILL THERE almost a year later.

-When you're running late and say to yourself: "I know! I'll just go into the raws and give myself SPEED:1!"

-For the above, the farther along you get before you realize it won't work gets you bonus points:

-1 sec: 1
-Turn around, then realize: 2
-Get halfway to your computer: 4
-Open up the DF/Raws Folder: 8
-(if you have a shortcut to your raws on the desktop, +6)
-Finish edditing the Humans entry: 16
-Get halfway to your destination: 32
-Once you get there: 64
-What do you mean "won't work?" 128

-When fishing, for you, means either no tools at all besides dark blue overalls, or a Steel Battle Axe and a full set of armor and scuba gear (in case I get pulled in).

-When You are dumbstruck that the six logs you brought in for the winter fail to burn for a month at a time.

-When Your History Assignment on important battles references Jreengus Occurred.

-When You believe that elevators work by having a hinge in the floor that flings you up to the next level; You can't think of any other mechanism that would do it.

-If you have ever gotten into a fierce argument over the amount of wood it takes to build a ring versus a barrel.

-You believe that a garden Gnome is not a true representative of it's kind until it is dunked in water, smeared in blood, vomited on, then doused in alchohol and ignited. But at that point, it is 100% accurate.

...as soon as you see a wall painted brown you grab a pickaxe and start hewing away at it.

...you feel a need to engrave just about everything you've seen on nearby walls and then give them odd, unrelated names.

...you have to calm down your tantruming children after you butchered their kitten.

...try to get a meeting with the mayor for one full year to complain about being unemployed.

...finally break down the door to the mayor's office and shout at him, which makes   you feel better.

...throw your furniture at the guards because you have been imprisoned for breaking down the mayor's door.

...are happily playing DF for the rest of your life in a mental institute while getting free dope.

You make up in the morning and feel good for having slept in such a fine bedroom.

Your dining room is the most decorated room in your house.

You have a tomb built for yourself, they wont be able to assign it to you after you die.

You smash a hole through the center of your house to make a waterfall to give you happy thoughts.

You go to a shop and try to trade your *Stone Crafts* for food.

... when you tell your friend that you're bored, so you're gonna go find the mayor, gouge out his eyes, and beat him to death with his underwear. Even worse if you can't figure out why said friend is looking at you like that.

... when you are supposed to write an essay on World War 2, but instead turn in a piece of paper saying "In 1936, Hitler Occurred."

... when you are a construction worker, and frequently wall yourself in somewhere, or dig a ditch all the way around you, and patiently wait for the invisible man in the sky to notice you and save you when either of these happen.

... when you wonder how these countries are going to war with each other. I mean, the army arc isn't even done yet! How are they doing that?

... when you got an unhappy thought because you "were irritated by the sun recently."

...when you attempt to stuff all your pets into a canary cage.
...when you hear about a birth in the family and think "oh great, another useless brat."
...when you attempt to hang rocks from ropes outside your front door to "keep the goblins out."
...when you refuse to go fishing with a friend because you're afraid you'll be dragged in by carp.
...when you try to build a piece of furniture out of a single log.
...when you ask your local farmer why he doesn't grow any plump helmets or make farms underground.
...when you find a carbon fiber archery arrow and either:
1. Shout "Praise the miners!" at the top of your lungs
2. Attempt to sell it at a pawn shop for way more than it's actually worth, or
3. Drop it and run like hell, fearing the demons.
