On the Growth of Conflict
Cycle 1, Apex Phase: New World Order

Of the First Domains(And that of Chaos)

Of Oaths did the Domain bind the illusions of souls in torment for their sins, to be punished and purified for their rebirth. The Metaphysical Rules which govern the Cycle laid to rest and sleep by the many tools of the original element of Oaths. So did the Oath rest within their Domain.

Did Numbers deny understanding, for all is Numbers. So too is the Domain Numbers.

Of Chaos, a domain filled with nearly uncountable orbs crushing him beneath their weight, worlds both imagined and not playing within them and orbs themselves. Yet many are empty, waiting. They spend a cycle sorting them into a more chaotically free arrangement. As well, the Telegraph finds them even in this chaos, though how remains to be known.

Prosperity did settle with The Arboretum, a Domain of endless Growth, decay, Death, feeding to a greater rise still, and endless Jungle and Forest reaching seeming forever, yet limited.

Of Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Water, Endless Waters fill the Domain, limited only by the boundary of it's circumference. Yet Water spills over, and the divine ichor is washed away as if it never was. Law spills forth upon the yet to be born world. A Subdomain forms filled with yet more Waters overflowing.

Motionless Violence Unfurls
Bichaxeth did question, using Telegraphs to carry Telegrams for communication. How this worked was unknown, for one could simply have spoke the distance. The question asked on carefully calligraphed stone tablets was what world should be created? Xxxxxbahhqist's first suggestion as one of many and stranger dimensions, but was shot down. Bichaxeth then proposed a world of mud, as none others stepped up, before Xxxxxbahhqist finally got a hold on his many marbles and suggested Motionless Violence.
Quote from: World suggestion 3
Name: Motionless Violence
Origin/Element: Depends on creator
Type: World
a world in the form of a singular massive ring of water many miles thick- that "flows" clockwise around Eight massive "pillars" or "spokes" of stone that extend from far below, where the "core" the sea orbits around lies.
Spoiler: Visual example (click to show/hide)

Bichaxeth approved, and Xxxxxbahhqist donated their power to fuel it. They wrote into existance the planatary body, and from their Ichor penned the creation of Trothed-Burning-Heart to serve as the Core. From it did spikes of stone flow, their cores volcanic and providing heat and stability to the planet. 8 Islands of stone seperated by a seemingly endless sea. The gentle pink light of TBH shined across the horizon and illuminates the bottom of these seas. But to sinners it's light would be cruel and dark, bringing suffering to oathbreakers and forcing them into the depths of the cold ocean where no light reaches. [Perhaps, had Oaths not had a hold of Chaos, it's power may have warped this result.]

Did 4277001901 then spend 5 of it's power to fill the oceans with many many species of basic life. From clamshoals to floating reefs, Shellsharks to spongefish. Upon land did green and pink vegetation seek to hold onto it's simple berth of stone above, suckerroots gripping to take in the light, and did much suckermoss attach to the thermal spikes. Prosperity then carve Black Smoker Vents, cracking the shell's outer surface for belching gasses to enter the deep seas around the 8 volcanic pillars. Life died, and then new life was born from the old, coral ecosystems forming around these spikes. An uneasy truce between the deep and the shallows was formed, deathly heat and life-giving cold at odds with each other. Nonetheless, the Numbers did not lie, for the open ocean is home to many of their kind.

Disaster! Water in it's Watery Waterness Watered the many species with it's Greater Law that would turn them into Water-based lifeforms, performing the same functions as before. The Coral Reefs of the Volcanic Spikes weathered the storm, becoming translucent and adapting to take in more nutrients, but many numbers of speices floated to the surface and died asthey ate at each other, unable to sink back down to safety. Some floating reefs not adapted to air suffocated, and spongefish dried out, causing a wave of death. What this will cause in the future is unknown. Why the element did so is unknown, but the wave of death and the switch to more water has caused a Subdomain of Water to form.

Of Sparks and rest

Within the Astral does the first spark come to be. Forged from the Horror of meaningless death that cannot be avoided, Antigonus names itself Lord of Disaters and Misfortune. A lofty claim to one born from Chaos & Prosperity. And so with the death of so many nascent lifeforms does The Jagged Wind be born aloft spires and erections of oath-spires and toll-numbers. A being of Ending. These Sp goarks unnoticed by the Elements, for now.

Some of the Elements Rested afterward, though due to acting they recovered no Ichor. Bar for Chaos.

Record watches, and documents.

A forceful beginning. And yet the tide of conflict already begins. Laws were never something easy to overturn, though perhaps if they create a shard meant to destroy them. Water is set to boil.(cut to an image of water in a pot, fire beneath.) Well, it shall be seen where this goes from here.

His first gifts already perverted by an erstwhile ally, the Giver laments the loss of Life and embraces His Death quality.  Many souls had his gift of Life stolen from them.  Victims of divine treachery, they deserved better.  But first He must find and collect them.

Quote from: The Shepherds
Name: The Shepherds
Origin/Element: Prosperity
Class: Group of Lesser Servants
Description: Incorporeal servants of the Giver spawned of the Death quality.  Their purpose is to gather and lead the souls of the deceased onward from the Mortal World.  (As incorporeal servant extension of the Giver himself, they obviously do not count as 'Life' for legal purposes.)

Traits:
Incorporeal - Spirit-like enable unable to directly interact with the physical world.  Likewise, the physical world cannot directly interact with them.
Imperceptible to the Mundane -  Incorporeal beings not even interacting with the physical world, they are also imperceptible to Mundane entities.
Soul Light - Can radiate a bright magical light to gather lost souls.  (Also imperceptible to the Mundane.)
Astral Guide - Can direct gathered souls onward to the Astral plane, for appropriate use by the Elements.

The Giver directs the Shepherds to seek and gather souls of the deceased from the Mortal World.  The souls are to be guided to safety within the Astral Plane.  A generous God, The Giver decrees souls will be allowed to choose which God's domain to return to.  (However, given that all the recently deceased life was aligned with either Numbers or Prosperity, you can guess how that will pan out.)

Action 1: Rest

Flowing letters are written on a flowing pages of water, and delivered via smoke signals to the newly born sparks of End and Horror.

Quote
Dearest Jagged Wind

My beloved daughter/son. I hope you are well, and not planning to brutally murder me so that you can usurp my power. There is an opportunity in the claiming of the subdomain of water, if you are feel venturous. I believe that your father/mother Numbers and, I hear, Prosperous Giver might appreciate if you should take up shard of origin and travel down to Motionless Violence to destroy that pesky Law of Being.

Not wanting to be Murderedly yours, Bichaxeth

My favourite/only niece/nephew, I hope you are well. Please feel free to ask me questions of a divine nature, that I as your elder might be able to answer.

Bye, Bichaxeth

Antigonus took one look at the unclaimed Subdomain of water and screeched “Mine!”. Quickly settling in the comfortable waters of Oblivion, Which Antigonus lovingly named it and declared it his home. After settling down, Antigonus decides to see if he can create a pet worthy of his status! He creates a enormous snake with pitch black scales and eyes that would make you bow down and follow it’s every order. And if this does not work, Antigonus would be okay with a goldfish too.

Action 1: The 4277001901 create an army of 4277001901 Modrons, Lesser Servants and census-takers tasked with ensuring no one species exceeds 4277001901 in number at any time (-3 Power). They will be deployed for census duty every 4277001901 seconds (~135 yr) starting now.

Quote from: Sheet
Name: Modrons
Origin/Element: Numbers, Oaths?
Class: Lesser Servant
Description: Polyhedral clerks big and small who count things and do math

Traits:
 - Excellent at arithmetic: If/when mortals and mortal magic turn up, the 4277001901 will volunteer the Modrons for those looking to summon accountants, bookkeepers, and clerks
 - Numerous: There should always be 4277001901. The 4277001901 will be incensed if this changes.
 - Very lawful: Will strive to uphold first the laws of 4277001901, then the laws of the Elementals in general where they don't directly conflict with the 4277001901's wishes/welfare, and finally the local laws.
 - Docile summon: Will come peacefully when summoned unless in the process of conducting a census. The worst that should happen on a failed summon that still summons a Modron  (if/when mortals stumble on magic) is the Modron self-banishing.
 - Cullers of excess: Compelled to slaughter macroscopic life-forms with populations exceeding 4277001901 when not performing a census.

Next, the 4277001901 realized that they forgot to properly describe their Realm and will do exactly that now.

Quote from: 1002860084047768158, or the Abachoir
Somewhere in the soup of floating unused numbers that makes up the 4277001901's Realm is an enormous 128-digit abacus whose beads are polyhedra the size of entire cities. These beads contain such things as offices for the 4277001901's legions of decorative Realmbound accountants, housing for the 4277001901's army of census-takers, afterlives for hypothetical future mortals, lodgings for stray Elements/Sparks, prisons and asylums for imaginary numbers, abandoned beads infested with complex numbers, and collections of whatever limited edition things strike the 4277001901 or their subjects' fancy. The 4277001901 use the Abachoir to estimate and hopefully determine the Number of the cosmos.

On discovering the 4277001901 have a descendant with Bichaxeth, 4277001901 copy Bichaxeth in sending a congratulatory letter for the birth of Jagged Wind:

Traits:
- Enormous
- Hypnotizing Eyes

Antigonus then sends out his beloved snake to the Motionless Violence to fulfill its nature and hypnotize things. It tried to hypnotize the water but it didn’t work. Also if the snake gets him some worshippers, He will give the snake a hug. Huggies for Snakes!

Action 1:

With its incubation-oath now concluded, the Jagged Wind tore itself from the cosmic aether. The Godparents had spoken, and a law was Ended.  The Godparents’ kin that had made  the law, Ending an  Oath of Trust to do so.  It had sought to extend its being to avoid its own End. It wanted to make itself Beautiful by marring its competitors.

The End is Beautiful, and Beauty will never Fade.

[END Greater Law of Being-5 Power]

Action 2:

The Jagged Wind sweeps over the World, bringing an End to alteration. As it dives into the seas, its squalls force the elementals to tighten themselves into the shapes of beasts again.  Obsidian Shards penetrate oozing cores, shearing away the excess water, and restoring each individual Beauty.   It hums as it works, and thanks its Godparents when the last  bone is ground back into solidity.  As it exits the waters, it leaves something behind.

[CREATE: Astral Body- Space within a  Locality- Free]
Name:  The Terminus Rocks
Origin/Element: Ending,Oaths,Numbers
Type: Astral Body
Description: At the intersection of Oath and Prosperity, eighteen vertical shards of obsidian line a ring around the Troth Burning Heart, floating amidst the sea. Each provides just enough shade to shelter one human sized being from the Heart’s gaze. When viewed from its ‘front, the Rocks bear a list of the Laws and Oaths  currently affecting  the world. When viewed from its ‘rear’, in full light of the Heart, the Rocks display the Laws and Oaths that have been broken. The liquid surrounding the shards is water in name only. It does not flow, is solid to the touch, and can be safely walked on within a 500 square foot radius of the rocks. It is not meant to be drank, and will give no life.

Action 3:
After that, the Jagged Wind will Rest.
