Just chiming in to both bump for activity in something I've been watching for enjoyment and to point out a fatal flaw.

 This potential stalemate that the players have been pointing out threatens to make this a game that 'runs itself' and robs the players of all interaction. I suggest that the rules be tweaked to make Dustan Hache's prior assumption true in that a presidential candidate is randomly placed into power as this would indeed create a stalemate breaker that will make fascists and liberals alike think twice about creating that gameplay state.

I am out, something stupid happened that I was told wouldn’t happen and I get to be the one to deal with it, and if my past experience is anything to go by, this is something that will take weeks to deal with because I have to do everyone’s job for them until someone decides to actually fix the god damn problem they “fixed” in the first place.
